Weaving a little fun into lunch. . .

A little fun goes a very long way when it comes to getting people of a certain height to actually eat something.
My kids aren't picky, just very unmotivated eaters. Adding a little "fancy" to their meals makes them disappear much faster and
helps me stay sane. No begging, pleading or threats of "no dessert" necessary.

Lunch 17

The great quest to find something she will eat, something different than the day before, continues.

Lunch: Golden delicious apple, carrot flowers. A small square of chocolate and a pink carebear. Love A Lot Bear I believe. The main event is cream cheese and jelly roll ups on whole wheat.
Snacks: Banana and a granola bar
Drinks: chocolate milk and lemonade

Now normally my lovely sweet agreeable child likes cream cheese and jelly together. This day, she decided that it was gross, after they were made and packed. I told her I didn't have time to change it (mostly true) and that we shouldn't waste food.
There was much drama.
Off to school she went. When she came home, every last one was still in there. Little beasty is ok with going hungry to prove her point apparently.
